Why a Book?
There hasn't been a medium that has stood the test of time like a book. Innovative, provacative, thought-provoking, enlightening are words that have described the information held within its ubiquitous container.
It's one of the only forms of art that is considered utilitarian, informative and artistic all in the same breath.
These days the paradigm of the book is flipping on its proverbial axel, and the model was once understand as the only book is shifting to simply one of the options. But, as our eyes scan writing in the myriad different ways it is presented, it's nice to be reminded that their is something tangible to tie our time.
There is just something special about the newly made cover a book. The package that fits around those pages makes our imaginations whirl. Opening a new album on the coffee table just feels different than powering up our tablet and reading the electronic words.
But, no matter how hard we try, no matter how much we deny the findings, facts and even the rant-filled blogs, the e-book is here to stay. And, in the coming months and years we hope to be a part of that party too!

dab•ble [dab-uh'l] verb, -bled, -bling.
1. to work broadly on a subject or an area of interest: he was a fine artist who dabbled in every facet of his craft.
2. to untether from the conventional methods of doing something in order to make something exceptional.
Dabbling can happen in almost any facet of life, and almost anywhere on the journey. A thirty year old can climb the Himalayas, a 40 year old can run a marathon, a 20 year old can take up pottery. The possibilities are endless.
When I was 5 years old I dabbled in dinosaurs. I knew a good amount about them, but I wasn't an expert...When we were children we dabbled in a lot of different things to test them out, trying to understand how we fit in, or how we can make an impact. It's specifically that thought, that innate desire to try everything that we hope DabbleBooks allows you.
We also hope that it allows you to capture those moments in your families and, the critical moments in your child's life when they decide what to dabble in.
