Marriage between the Family Tree and Photo books.

I’ve worked hard.  I’ve scoured the history books.  I’ve interviewed elderly relatives.  I’ve taken photos.  I scanned photos.  I’ve written out names.  I’ve talked to so many people about your relatives.  I’ve worked hard on your family tree.
Now it’s time to collect that hard work into one of the most attractive ways to view all that hard work.  A Photo Book.

I can imagine that picture of my grandfather in his military uniform as a full page image.

I can imagine the picture of my uncle with his Red Sox hat on with the letter underneath that he included with that photo he sent.

I can imagine the photo of my grandparents’ first house taken the day they bought it.  Beside the photo is the transcript from the interview I had with my grandmother before she passed on about the house and how much it was and how they felt buying it.

I can imagine the photo of me still in diapers and everyone else behind me as a full page color image.  With a caption explaining when the image was taken thanks to my  mother’s description.  (that's the most embarrassing photo!)

I can imagine the possibilities that my Family Tree Photo Book could be.

Can you imagine?

What do you think?  Have you made a family tree photo book yet?  Do you do a lot of research into your family’s past?
